The Series 970 connector fills the need for a military-grade harsh environment power connector with improved mechanical, environmental and electrical performance. Featuring triple-start mating threads, crimp rear-release contacts, upgraded material and finish choices and improved EMI protection, the PowerTrip™ connector is ideal for power distribution units, hybrid electric drives, motors, and other high current applications. The louverband socket contact and the pin contact are machined from high conductivity copper alloy for low resistance and higher ampacity.
