Tyco Electronics Ltd. (TE) (NYSE: TEL) recently announced its selection of eight electronic distributors for the company's 2009 Distributor of the Year Awards. The TE Distributor of the Year Awards honor its top performing global, regional and specialty distribution partners, and also highlight the standards TE has for its channel partners. Award recipients were selected from TE's authorized electronic distributors based on strategic categories matched to TE's business and growth priorities including sales growth, demand identification and creation, customer base expansion, accounts receivable improvements and cost reduction and efficiency.
