Bulgin 6000 Hybrid Series Buccaneer
Bulgin has added the 6000 Hybrid Series to its Buccaneer circular connector family. This is Bulgin’s first dual-rated connector supporting power and signal transmission through a single, sealed connection. Available in flex, inline and panel-mount body styles (PC/PBT construction), the range pairs with a proven push/pull coupling mechanism with a 30° twist lock, so connections mate and release quickly while staying tamperproof once engaged.
Each connector carries 2 power contacts (16A, 600V) alongside a choice of 2, 4 or 6 signal contacts (3A, 60V), letting a single connector replace what previously took two. Rated IP66 and IP68 when mated, and built from UL 94 V-0, UV-stable, halogen-free plastic, the 6000 Hybrid Series is built for demanding indoor and outdoor environments alike.
Four configurations are available: Flex Cable Connector (PXP6070), Inline Cable Connector (PXP6071), Front Panel Mounting Connector (PXP6072), and Screwed Front Panel Mounting Connector (PXP6074). All are offered in plug or socket versions with crimp or solder termination; contacts are supplied separately.
