Materials Logistics Manager :: Corporate Headquarters, New Jersey
Powell Electronics is currently searching for a knowledgeable, motivating manager who possesses a degree in Mathematics or Statistics and is trained in Materials Management SAP, or has three or more years experience with designing, implementing, and executing SAP MRP programs to support a distribution enterprise.
The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have a broad knowledge of Microsoft data management tools. Must be team-oriented and be able to lead teams of operations, marketing and MIS employees to promote the use of advanced logistics achieving the company’s highest level of customer service and inventory asset turns. Previous experience with SAP, ABAP or Cognos is a real plus.

Engineering and Applications Specialist :: Midwest Corridor
In order to combine front-end sales efforts with product diversity growth, the Midwest region would like to initiate a “shared” resource program utilizing an Engineering & Applications Specialist. The position would require on-going education of products, product applications, and customer contracts/projects. We would utilize the strengths and technical competence in offering engineering solutions to our customer’s design groups and combine with and followed up by the field sales through the customer’s purchasing group. Also this position would provide technical training and product updates to Powell associates. This resource would be utilized and shared by the entire Midwest Corridor (Powell Dallas and Powell Chicago).
